I believe there's an innate need in all of us to pause our busy lives from time to time and celebrate! The amount of time, effort, and resources spent to celebrate an engagement, a wedding, a birthday, the holidays and other momentous occasions demonstrates that these fractals of time in our lives should not merely be remembered but cherished.
